Kristen Anne Bell (born 1980) is a famous American performer and actress. Her parents are Tom Bell and Lorelei Frygier who are both news director on television. Her family was from Huntington Woods Michigan. Her birthplace was in the town of Huntington Woods, Michigan with a Polish mother and a father that is German, English Irish, Scottish as well as Irish. Kristen was already an accomplished performer from a young age. She went to her audition in 1992, and was then offered a role on Raggedy Ann, and Andy. Bell was contacted by an agent by her mother before the age of 13 and was cast as a model in newspapers and television commercials. Bell also began taking private acting classes at that time. Bell was credited with a minor part in the film Polish Wedding (1998) in 1998. Bell was part of the music and drama club of Shrine Catholic High School. She won the starring role as Dorothy at her school's production of The Wizard of Oz. Bell studied musical theatre at the world-renowned Tisch School of the Arts in New York City after graduating. In 2001, Bell left university to perform the part of Becky as Becky in Tom Sawyer. In 2001, she made her debut on the credit screen as Becky in Pootie Tang. The film was cut, however the film cut her character out of the movie and her appearance was only on the screen credits. Bell made an appearance in Broadway in The Crucible, a revival which featured Liam Neeson with Angela Bettis.
