Mary McCormack (American actress) is known for the TV series "Murder One", The West Wing' and Loaded'. Also, she is well-known for her film roles in Private Parts', 'Deep impact', 'True Crime' and '1408'. McCormack, who was born in a house without any entertainment connection at all in her family tree was the daughter of a clinical therapist and the proprietor of an ice cream parlor. She was a student at Wardlaw-Hartridge School, and following the divorce of her parents in 1990 she enrolled at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut and eventually graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in the field of comparative arts. When she was just 12, her stage career started when she performed in "Amahl, and the Night Visitor" which was a Christmas opera. She continued performing in theatres before landing a role that were on small screens as well as the big screen. Today, McCormack is recognized as one of the best actors in Hollywood. McCormack is married director/producer Michael Morris and has three children.
