The singer was still active, though not under the spotlight, as an actress during the decade following with small roles in television and films. Even an exercise DVD was made available. Apollonia recorded a bilingual album called Stay with Me. In later years, after returning to school and receiving an award for filmmaking, she started her own production business. Apollonia is an incredibly talented woman. She is a former model, singer actress and talent manager. Purple Rain, the 1984 film that she was in, is her most recognizable performance. The other shows and films Kotero was a part of include Black Magic Woman and The Divorce Ceremony. Kotero debuted her career as a model. She participated in numerous pageants.
